Tee Time Reservation System
To cancel a reserved tee time, please do so no later than 7 p.m. prior to your day of play in order to avoid a "no-show" penalty and to free up the time for other golfers. Thank you.
The automated Tee Time Reservation System offers a quick and easy way to reserve, review, modify, or cancel advanced reservations using the telephone or web. Reservations may be made and managed for Charleston Springs (North and South), Hominy Hill, Howell Park, Bel Aire 18, Pine Brook, and Shark River golf courses, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Access to the system is included with the purchase of a Golf Card. Golf cards must be purchased in-person at a Monmouth County Park System golf course. Both the phone system and the internet reservation system will be available for use immediately.
Your access number is the number printed below the bar code on your card. Your pin # will be the last four digits of your social security number or the four digits you chose when your card was issued.
Advance reservations are available beginning at 8 p.m. seven days in advance. For example, tee times for Saturday become available the preceding Saturday at 8 p.m. Tee times cannot be canceled or modified during the first hour after the system opens up each night. Golfers must cancel by 7 p.m. the night before day of play using the tee time reservation system to avoid incurring a penalty. The courses will not accept any cancellations. See our schedule of first and last tee times available for the 2014 golf season.
From 8:00 - 8:05 p.m., when a new block of Saturday and Sunday tee times becomes available, all morning tee times up until 12 noon are randomly distributed. This assures a fair distribution of prime, early morning times. At 8:05 p.m., any unreserved early times remain in the pool for claiming on a first come, first served basis.
To keep the distribution of tee-times equitable, we limit the number of concurrent web sessions. Currently, 50 concurrent web sessions and 23 phone lines open up at 8:00 p.m. If you receive an error page that reads “Service Unavailable”, it does not mean the system is down, it means that the number of concurrent web sessions (50) has been reached. Please refresh the page and try again.
All unreserved tee times become available on the day of play as same-day reservations or walk-on times.
Same-day reservations are available, using the automated system, a minimum of 90 minutes in advance. For example, if a golfer calls in at 10:00 a.m., the earliest same-day reservation would be 90 minutes later, or 11:30 a.m.
Walk-on times are set aside once an hour, on the hour, for twosomes, threesomes, and foursomes who do not use the Reservation System. Other unreserved times are available on a first-come first-served basis or as a same day reservation.
Whether reserving a tee time through the Reservation System or walking on, a single golfer will only be given a tee time by being paired with a twosome or threesome. Even though singles may not reserve a starting time, their names are recorded on a singles list on a first-come first-served basis. The starter’s time may then be used to allow three or four singles to tee off when they cannot otherwise be paired and scheduled.
Automated tee time reservations and information are available by both telephone and internet. Call 732-758-8383 or log onto www.monmouthcountygolf.org. If you receive the error page that reads Service Unavailable, the number of concurrent web sessions (50) has been reached. Please refresh the page and try again. To keep the distribution of tee-times equitable, we limit the number of concurrent web sessions. Currently, 50 concurrent web sessions and 23 phone lines open up at 8:00 p.m.
In the event that no other golfers are available, a single walk-on may be given a tee time at the discretion of the Golf Center.
No Show Policy
A golfer failing to honor a reservation made in his or her name through the tee time reservation service shall be designated a no-show. A no-show is anyone not canceling a reserved tee time prior to the day of play by 7 p.m., showing up for play with fewer than the number of golfers for whom the reservation was made, or failing to personally honor a reservation made in his or her name. Currently, the Park System is designating a no-show as a group who as an entire TWOSOME, THREESOME or FOURSOME fail to show or arrive later than one half hour before reserved time. The golfer who made the reservation will be taken out of the reservation system until he or she pays the no-show fee for the entire group. Calling the Golf Center to cancel a reservation on the morning of play will not exempt the golfer from a no-show penalty, unless inclement weather prevents play. The Park System reserves the right to register any golfers in the vacated time(s).
A no show appeal form can be obtained at each golf center or online.
