Opened in 2003 with the purpose of creating recreational opportunities on the eastern side of the county, the Coastal Activity Center hosts numerous activities through the Park System’s Community Recreation division.  Home to many programs including a three-day a week afterschool program, the Center continues to expand its offering.  Throughout the year, the Monmouth County Friends of the Parks fund trips, parties and programs for the afterschool program.
