Junior Counselor Program


Designed to offer teenagers an opportunity to learn the basics of camp counseling, the Junior Counselor Program gives participants a head start on developing important job skills. The program runs weekly Monday-Friday, June 24-August 23 from approximately 9am-4pm and costs $75 per one week session. (Note: this is not a paid position)

Applicants can choose with which Monmouth County Park System division they would like to interview. Find the division that fits your personality. For details about each camp's location, please click the link for the full camp description.  Not all camps meet at Dorbrook Recreation Area.

Step 2: Fill out application and mail it to the Monmouth County Park System (address is on application)  Applications must be recieved by May 10, 2013.

Step 3: Park System personnel will contact applicants to schedule an interview. (Applicants may be asked to interview with their first and second choice.
