Through our diverse environmental education programming, we strive to create opportunities for participants to develop leadership, team building, and critical thinking skills. Our standards based curriculum takes advantage of the rich natural resources available in Monmouth County, and provides a hands-on focus that promotes awareness, understanding, and stewardship of our natural history and environment. Programs are available throughout the county parks, and some can travel to your site. Certain topics are site specific due either to natural resource or equipment availability. All programs must be arranged at least 4 weeks in advance. It is advisable to schedule 6-8 months prior to your desired date. For your convenience, New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards are listed with most programs. We invite you to take advantage of the programs listed here to help achieve our common goal of teaching children the value of our natural resources.
