Friends of the Parks

Special People United to Ride (SPUR) - This non-profit organization of local citizens was established in 1981. Members assist the Park System in serving individuals with physical and mental disabilities through horseback riding lessons. Monmouth Conservation Foundation

A non-profit organization dedicated to preserving open space, the Foundation has been acquiring and holding Monmouth County's diminishing open space until the Park System or local municipality can purchase and preserve the land.
